Dog Siblings See Each Other On The Street And Stop To Embrace

We sometimes see something that we haven’t seen in years and we can’t help but rush over to them for a big hug. It is especially touching when it happens to be a member of our family. Perhaps we have wondered if dogs feel the same way we feel when they see members of their family they haven’t seen in a while. We know for a fact that a dog will get exited when we see them after only 5 minutes has passed, but what if it is a dog from the same litter? Some experts feel that they may not be able to recognize each other but, what do they know?

This story is going to make you a believer in what dogs are capable of doing. Two dog owners were out walking their dogs one evening when the dogs spotted each other and suddenly got excited. Those two cockapoos, Rosie and Monty happen to be affectionate to start with. That is something that is common in the breed. If you have ever had such a dog in your life, you are probably not surprised that they would be overjoyed when they saw each other. It wasn’t long before they were ‘hugging’. The most impressive part is that they were separated when they were only puppies.

The story went viral right after the picture was uploaded to Twitter.

Susan Killip is Rosie’s owner and she said the puppies spent a lot of time together before they were adopted. That being said, Rosie never saw Monty after they were adopted until the picture was taken. There were 6 puppies in total in the litter and when Rosie and Monty saw each other that day, they were just out for a normal walk when the dogs reconnected. The pups were jumping up and down and hugging. Susan said it was ‘amazing’ and that they hadn’t seen each other for at least 10 months. It’s easy to see that they didn’t forget each other.

The photo was sent in a text from Libby Pincherโ€™s dad, reading: โ€œSo, Dave was out walking his dog, and there was a couple walking towards him with a white version of his dog. Turns out they are brother and sister from the same litter.โ€ He also said that they will play with other dogs but these two were genuinely happy to be together and were hugging.
